HOLY COW!
You guys!!!! Dutch cows are massive! Like seriously, they are freaking huge! I noticed when we went on a beautiful bike ride the other day, along a scenic countryside bike path. There was a cow pasture off to one side of the path at one point, and when I looked up to see the cows, my brain literally couldn't comprehend how far they were from me in comparison with their size. They are enormous. Look at them! Ok, to be fair, this one in the picture above is, I think, the biggest cow in the country, or maybe the world. But still, it's so big!!! I also found this blog post about how the Dutch have a special day in the spring when all the cows are let out of the barn where they've been kept warm for the winter, and the cows are so happy to be out in the pasture that they do a cow dance!
